Kendrick Lamar Beats Out Eminem for Longstanding Album on Billboard 200

Kendrick Lamar has reason to pop the champagne bottle, because his 2012 album “good kid, m.A.A.d city” just beat Eminem ‘s LP “The Eminem Show” for the longest-charting hip-hop studio album in the history of the Billboard 200 charts. Chart Data broke the news on Sunday, and “The Eminem Show,” which came out in 2002, spent 357 weeks on the charts, while “good kid, m.A.A.d city” has lived on the charts for 358 weeks, which equates to almost seven years.
